1. This is an 18+ venue. Adult themes are played out in the RP taking place at this venue, and no inclusion of minors is permitted. For the safety of our patrons and staff, this goes for players and characters alike. Adult Lalafell characters are permitted in the venue, but under no circumstances are they to be included in any content of a lewd or sexual nature.2. Don't be a dick. This seems like it goes without saying, but the Underworld is a space where staff and patrons both have a right to feel safe. If you cannot do your part to maintain that environment, you are not welcome in it.3. This is a consent-based RP space. Unless there are specific events happening that have been mechanized for the purposes of fairness and expediency (fights, card games, etc.) everything that happens in this space is at the discretion of the people it's happening to. While we as players love a juicy bit of IC drama, make sure all players involved are on board with whatever it is you want your character to do to theirs before going forward.4. Flirtatious and suggestive RP is welcome and encouraged. Please keep all ERP to private modes of communication (party, tell, Discord, etc.) - Thank you.5. If there are events that require some degree of mechanization to work (the digital equivalent of rolling dice, generally), they will be announced before beginning. Participation in those events will be considered as players consenting to that game/event's level of introducing an element of random chance into outcomes. If that's not your cup of tea, that's okay! Spectators are generally very welcome, and continue to fall under the rule of negotiated consent.6. Patrons should change their status to RP when inside the venue, and avoid using other status signifiers. Some of them are used to indicate staff and various offered services, and we don't want to cause an incident because someone accidentally propositions another patron instead of the courtesan they assumed they were. Courtesans available for hire will have a green Looking for Party tag and all other staff will have yellow Looking for Meld Materia tags.7. This venue is open for RP 24/7 (unless occupied by a private party of some kind). That being said, even if none of the staff are online or inside the venue, please understand that in the world your characters are experiencing, there are always NPC souls and voidsent going about their existence; they absolutely can see you. Disruptive behavior would still get those characters asked to leave by at least one grumpy voidsent. If you want to have your character(s) get up to some shenanigans at a time when the venue is not staffed by present PCs, please reach out to Hades Mnemosyne to discuss it.8. All companionship services will be negotiated with the courtesan before booking. They may refuse any contract for any reason. They may stop any contract for any reason at any time - No refunds will be granted.9. The nature of this venue means you are going to encounter characters who come from worlds and times that don't match your personal headcanons; you are going to encounter NPC RPers. By being a liminal space in the Aetherial Sea (and therefore outside of time) we have provided a space for everyone to be able to co-exist without ruining their experiences when they leave. Be cool about that, or you will be asked to leave.

The Underworld is a post-Endwalker 18+ RP Venue blending style, vice, and sophistication at a speakeasy in the ultimate liminal space - what's left of the realms that once saw to the care of the dead. We welcome both OC and NPC RPers alike, and are excited to provide a space where everyone's characters can interact with each other no matter how different their own personal worlds happen to be.A couple of trivia pointsThe Underworld is populated by souls in various stages along their journey - it may not work as well as it once did, but Hades does try to care for what souls make it to his domain before re-entering the Lifestream. It is also populated by Voidsent - some of them have been here since it has, creations of their master to help in the care and protection of souls. They answer to Hades and Hythlodaeus alone.This entire realm is Hades' creation. The very stones obey his command. He doesn't throw that around lightly, but those who cause trouble in this place quickly find themselves horrifically outmatched and thrown out. Where they're thrown (or when) no one knows, no one's been brave enough to ask.This is the central crossroads between all times and places - in order to keep this from getting out of hand, this is the only Underworld. Other versions of Hades/Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus are welcome to come RP here and are considered to be citizens for the purposes of its broader magic, but their wishes don't supersede the Weaver and Seer who reign here.For our purposes, the Tenth is considered to be a real-world analogue; if your character comes from a Tenth that doesn't match this, that is completely fine! But if you hear folks talk about the Tenth - or react to real-world based characters as though they're from the Tenth, this is the one they mean.
